FuzziBunz

Yes Yes, I did it. :) I was converted into a cloth diapering mommy! We are very happy with this new change and we calculated all that we will be saving! TONS I tell you TONS!! With the brand we chose and the fact that we want more children, never buying disposable diapers again is a MEGA PLUS. You might not agree with me, but I promise to never try and change your view or thoughts on the subject. It was just the path we went and one we are happy with. Here is our CHUNK, he is so happy with his soft fuzzy bum, plus no red bum or diaper rash & I would have to add doesn't he look A-d-o-r-a-b-l-e! We sure love him..

Look at those thighs!!!!

Wow, you are a better person than I. I don't think I could ever do it but I am impressed that you are taking that step. Bravo! There is a girl in our ward that makes her own if you were ever interested in taking that path I'm sure I could get info for you.

Are they easy to clean? And how do you clean them?

Hey Brittany! How awesome that you're cloth diapering! It really is so much cheaper in the long run. :) I actually have one fuzzibunz diaper myself and have no complaints with it. As far as the diapers I use. Let's see. I really like the gdiapers for when the baby is younger and peeing and pooping every 5 minutes. Because I just change the insert (and sometimes the liner if it gets dirty) but don't have to wash the whole diaper. Because the cover can be reused immediately with a new insert. I think it saves on the amount of laundry I do. And I love all the cute colors-although if you use fuzzibunz-they have a lot of great colors too. The bumgenius elementals are just EASY. I mean, my hubby isn't a big fan of cd'ing, but even he can't say a bad thing about these diapers. It's all one size-so it fits from like 8-35 lbs (probably more like 10+ lbs). And it's all in one so there is absolutely NO stuffing needed. The outside layer is pul so we use it as a swim diaper too. It's just a really great diaper and definitely the one I have no problem leaving with a babysitter because it's so easy to use. They are spendy-like $24 each, but I've bought almost all of my diapers off a site called diaperswappers.com where people sell used diapers for waaaaay less than retail and even ebay. Like the elementals are about $24 each and I've averaged $12 each on them. You have to sign up for a paypal account to use it and it's a bit confusing but a great way to get some good deals on diapers. And your last question. Confession: I use disposables at night. My youngest pees through even those at night and we haven't been successful finding one that works for overnight use. I know some people use like 3 soakers, plus wool to help hold it in, but for 14 cents/diaper (off amazon using the subscribe and save option), it's just worth it to use a disposable. And then if I need to use diaper cream I do it then so I'm not staining my cd's either. Anyway, that was a whole lot of rambling. Hope it helped at all. Best of luck with the cd'ing!
